Pirates Dinner Adventure
Orlando, Florida
Orlando's Best Audience-Participation Family Show
by Steven Skelley and Thomas Routzong
Discover the perfect family, fun adventure where every moment is filled with blasting cannons, swashbuckling swordfights, aerial acrobatics, comedy and romance on a floating pirate ship in the middle of the theater!
The Pirate's Dinner Adventure boasts an amazing set - a 46 foot long, authentically replicated, 18th-century Spanish galleon anchored in a 300,000-gallon indoor lagoon with night sky lighting!
A classic, good-versus-evil romance story is told through choreographed sword fighting, trampoline and high-wire acrobatics, comedy and an incredible amount of audience participation. Pirates swing by rope on and off the ship, over the audience again and again.
Up to 800 guests are seated in six-sided showroom of six ships. Each of the six ships has their own pirate to cheer on as the adventure unfolds with cannon blasts, songs, acrobatics and pyrotechnics.
More than 150 guests of all ages get to play an actual role in each show and children may be chosen to row dinghies in a pirate race around the lagoon or board the galleon to help rescue a beautiful princess. This is a child's dream come true. The smiles on their faces say it all.
Dinner includes an appetizer, salad, chicken, pork or shrimp with scallops, yellow rice, and apple cobbler a la mode. Caribbean coffees, chilled beer, soft drinks, and vegetarian meals are also available. We found the food to be well above average and served with a pirate flavor and attitude.
Prior to the main show, guests may participate in a pre-show and Port of Call feast and after the show, there is a Buccaneer Bash party where everyone can sing and dance along with their favorite pirates.
